2025 BTBA Hosted Tournament Calendar                                

Bloomington Traveling Baseball Association is proud to host tournaments for nearly every age and class. We also feature some of the best facilities in the state. Both Kent Hrbek Fields and Dred Scott Fields have lighted fields, batting cages, grass infields, scoreboards,  and real dugouts. We hope your spring tournament plans include Bloomington!

See the table for the latest information on this year's hosted tournament dates and locations.  Tournament scheduling continues to be fluid this year, but we will endeavor to keep this page updated as new information becomes available.

Registration:

Entry fee for all tournaments is $500 .

BTBA Exceptions & Clarifications

• Exceptions/Notes

  •  All teams play 2 pool games to determine bracket placement.

  • All teams advance to bracket play

  • Coin toss will determine the home team for ALL games (Bracket Included)

  • Each team must supply one new baseball per game

  • Pool game limits (See MBT Qualifier Rules for detail) Summary Below

    • 9u-12u: 6 Innings, 1 hr, 45 min time limit | 13u-15u: 7 Innings, 2 hr time limit

    • No new innings after time limit

    • If game is tied after the last inning (6th or 7th depending on age) if time limit has not been exceeded a new inning shall begin

  • Time limit for bracket play (See MBT Qualifier Rules for detail) Summary Below

    (Rule on when a new inning begins: A new inning begins instantly when the 3rd out of the previous inning is recorded. The time of the 1st pitch of the next inning is irrelevant regarding the time limit).

    • 9u-12u: 6 Innings, 2 hr time limit | 13u-15u: 7 Innings, 2:15 hr time limit

    • No new innings after time limit

    • Tied Game after regulation/time limit International Tie Breaker Rules apply

• Tie Breakers

  • #1 - Head to Head (2 Teams/Same Pool)

  • #2 - Least # of runs allowed against tied teams

  • #3 - Run differential against tied teams (Max +/- 10 per game)

  • #4 - Least # of runs allowed in total pool play

  • #5 - Run differential in total pool play (max +/-10)

  • #6 - Coin Toss

• 13U NO METAL CLEATS ON ARTIFICIAL MOUNDS
  • Any pitcher using METAL cleats on the artificial mound (rubber molded are acceptable) will be disqualified for pitching in that current game.  NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Artificial Mounds are located on Kelly Fields, Dred Wheel and Hrbek

June 6-8: - 10AAA, 13AA

June 20-22: - 12AAA, 10A, 10AAA,15AA                                                        June 27-29: 9AA, 14/15A
